34 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education the moneys, if any, which were made available to her Department from the national lottery in the past five years; the use to which these moneys were put; and the way in which the money was allocated.

The following table gives details of the amounts made available to my Department for activities funded from the national lottery for the period 1988-93. These amounts are distributed over the broad headings under which national lottery funds are allocated as follows:
