Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Crawford — the action the Minister for Health intends to take in relation to the waiting lists for orthodontic treatment in view of the case of a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan; (2) Deputy Molloy — the grave concern expressed by the management of private voluntary hospitals in the State that the conditions which they must operate as laid down by the VHI are unfair, inequitable and unacceptable; and the action, if any, the Minister for Health proposes to take in the matter; (3) Deputy Connaughton — the lack of progress on the Clontuskert group water scheme, Ballinasloe, County Galway, where over 200 families have been waiting for several years for a proper water supply; (4) Deputy Creed — the failure of the Minister for Health and of all health boards to maintain pay parity for clinical psychologists in the health service with their counterparts employed in the Departments of Education and Justice as agreed by the Labour Court; (5) Deputy Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny)— whether, in view of the flooding of Carlow town for the second time in three years, funds will be made available to compensate people for damage caused or to prevent a recurrence of such damage; (6) Deputy Doyle — the urgent need for beach nourishment at Rosslare Strand as part of the coastal protection and maintenance works for 1993; (7) An Teachta Ó Cuív — cathain a cheadófar an deontas don obair fheabhsúcháin agus leathnúcháin ar Scoil Shailearna, Contae na Gaillimhe; (8) Deputy Michael Kitt — the need for funding for psychiatric nurse training at St. Brigid's Hospital, Ballinasloe, County Galway.
