141 Mr. S. Kenny asked the Minister for Justice if she will obtain a report from the Garda Síochána in relation to the intimidation which forced persons (details supplied) in Dublin 5 to leave their private rented accommodation on 21 June 1993.
It is not the practice for the Minister for Justice to give detailed information to the House about individual Garda investigations except in singular instances where the circumstances are so exceptional that such a course is deemed to be appropriate.
All I propose to say in this case is that I have been informed by the Garda authorities that the incident in question is the subject of a Garda investigation.
