Ceist:278 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the commencement of the proposed extension to De La Salle boys' school, Dundalk, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An application from the authorities of De La Salle boys' school, Dundalk for a grant towards the cost of a proposed extension was received in May 1993 and is under consideration in my Department. The proposals were developed independent of my Department.
