Ceist:45 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if consideration is being given to the introduction of an EC beef premium for specialist beef finishers.
Written Answers. - Special Beef Premium.
The EC special beef premium is payable twice in the lifetime of an eligible animal, at ten months and at 22 months of age. All beef producers, including specialist beef finishers, who comply with the rules will be paid premium in respect of such animals.
