Ceist:162 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Social Welfare if his Department gives any financial assistance to groups servicing emigrant organisations, in particular, to a group (details supplied) in Dublin.
Written Answers. - Grants to Voluntary Organisations.
Grants have been made from time to time to emigrant organisations under the scheme of grants to voluntary organisations in the social services area. An application under the 1993 scheme has been received from the organisation concerned. The application is still under consideration and as soon as a decision is made the organisation concerned will be notified.
