Ceist:246 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment the current situation concerning the proposed Moate sewerage treatment works, County Westmeath, and when work will commence on this project.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 245 and 246 together.
Revised contract documents have recently been received for these works and are under examination in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
