255 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for the Marine the situation in relation to the allocation of capital towards the development of Kilmore Quay in County Wexford; its position on the overall priority list of port development in his Department's priority list; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The development of Kilmore Quay, County Wexford, is at the top of the list for new major projects to be initiated in 1994. Consultants are being appointed at present to draw up the detailed design and phasing for the project.
