336 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he has concluded his perusal of the ESB report on the future of Allenwood Power Station, County Kildare; if he has agreed to direct the reopening of the station on the basis of the employment likely to be generated from the supply of fuel to the station; if he has approved any long term plans for the station; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am examining the report from the Board of the ESB which recommends closure of the generating station at Allenwood. This examination has not yet been concluded.
