Ceist:

384 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education if she will give a statistical breakdown of the distribution of higher education grants in terms of occupational sectors of the economy, that is to say farmers, self-employed, PAYE and other such sectors.

The following tabular statement gives a breakdown of new awards for the 1992-93 academic year under the higher education grants scheme by family socio-economic groups.
