426 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the changing needs of education in County Wicklow, she will permit County Wicklow Vocational Education Committee to dispose of its school in Blessington, County Wicklow to the local community.
My Department has received representations from the County Wicklow Vocational Education Committee on behalf of the Blessington and District Community Council, to lease the school to the local community, and it is now awaiting receipt of further documentation from the Vocational Education Committee so that the community group's proposal may be fully considered.
