429 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education the locations of the national schools in County Kildare in respect of which she has received submissions from the school authorities requesting improvements, repairs, alterations, upgrading or replacement of facilities; the current position in regard to meeting such requests; if these requests can be met in 1994; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The major building projects at national schools in County Kildare which are already underway or in course of planning or which are under consideration are as follows: Brownstown; Churchtown; Ticknevin; Allen; Ardclough; Hewetson; Clane; Kilmead; Rathcoffey; Scoil Uí Riada; Kilcock.
Numerous improvement works are carried out on an ongoing basis at various schools throughout the country. It would not be possible to give specific details of the improvement works in County Kildare as it would require an inordinate amount of staff time to procure this information.
