Vol. 434 No. 2

Written Answers. - Raheen (Kerry) School.

John O'Leary

Ceist:

435 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Education the reason for the long delay in repairing the serious leak in the roof of the new national school at Raheen, Headford PO, Killarney, County Kerry in the parish of Glenflesk which has caused the water to penetrate at and near the ESB fuse board; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department has recently sanctioned grant-aid towards extensive investigative work to determine the precise nature and extent of remedial works which should be grant-aided in this case in order to provide as a matter of urgency a permanent solution to the problems with the roof at this school.
