156 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the procedure adopted for offers in the recent sale of Cara Computers by Aer Lingus; the offers that were received; the reason that all bidders dropped out other than one bidder; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As I indicated in response to a previous question relating to CARA on 23 June 1993, the sale by Aer Lingus of a subsidiary is primarily a matter for the company. I have no direct function in the matter.
