Ceist:

157 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications when a decision will be made regarding a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has applied for a grant under the farm electrification grants scheme; and if funding has now been made available for this scheme.

The application in question was approved in my Department earlier this year.

The funding of the scheme is currently being considered in the context of the 1994 Estimates. I expect it to be settled shortly.
