Ceist:122 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in sanctioning a grant for the Lakeshore Road Group Water Scheme, Oughterard, County Galway.

Group water scheme grants and contributions from group members are unlikely to suffice to finance this scheme which, in consequence, may require a substantial contribution from the provision for public water and sanitary services schemes. Having regard to the overall demand on that provision, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this scheme.
