When is it proposed to take Report Stage of this Bill?
Next Tuesday, subject to agreement among the Whips.
An agreement was reached that Report Stage would be delayed to give the Government an opportunity to consider a specific amendment which I tabled on Committee Stage. The Minister agreed not to rush Report Stage until he had an opportunity to consider whether my amendment could be incorporated in the Bill.
I am aware of the agreement reached and that is why the Bill is to be taken subject to agreement between the Whips.
While on the subject of foreign affairs I wish to take this opportunity to congratulate the Gualtier soccer player from San Marino for keeping up the family tradition in giving the English unpleasant surprises.
