I request leave to move the Adjournment of Dáil Éireann under Standing Order 30 for the purpose of discussing an important and urgent matter of public interest, that is the implications for the Irish Government in the peace process following the recent disclosure of ongoing contacts between the British Government and the IRA and the statements made on the BBC "Panorama" programme on 29 November to the effect that the Government had contact with terrorist organisations on this island.
