Vol. 436 No. 4

Written Answers. - Tullyallen (Louth) National School.

Michael Bell

Ceist:

234 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education when the promised 80 per cent grant to Tullyallen national school, County Louth, will be made available for the school extension; if it will be possible to arrange the contract early in 1994; and, if so, when the balance of the grant will be available.

It was not possible to include the major extension project for Tullyallen promary school, County Louth in the national schools' capital programme for 1993 because of other demands which were considered to be of higher priority.

It will be considered for inclusion in the 1994 school building programme in the light of availability resourses and other commitments and priorities. The question of grant-aiding the project will only arise when the contract is ready to be placed.
