Ceist:

155 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform if, arising from his reply to parliamentary questions on 3 November 1993, he has brought to Government his proposals for a stillbirth registration Bill; and when he will publish this Bill.

Government approval has been given for the drafting of a Bill which would provide for comprehensive registration of still births. The Bill is now being drafted and will be published in the near future.
