123 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has for the provision of an extra classroom at Letterfrack National School, Letterfrack, County Galway; if her attention has been drawn to the overcrowded conditions in this school with a class being held in the corridor; when work will be approved to commence on the new classroom; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
My Department sanctioned a grant in respect of the adaptation of existing accommodation at Letterfrack national school, County Galway, to provide for two additional teachers appointed at this school from September 1993. This project has now been completed. The question of the provision of further accommodation at this school is under consideration in my Department and a decision in the matter will be con-veyed to the school authorities in due course.
