Ceist:

422 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive the remainder of payment in respect of a suckler cow grant.

The 60 per cent advance under the 1993 suckler cow premium received by the person named was based on his own suckler cow quota of six. The quota of eight inherited by him will be amalgamated with his own quota shortly and the balance of grants due to him under the 1993 suckler cow scheme will be paid in due course.
