Written Answers. - Donegal Sewerage Scheme.

Ceist:

75 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment if an application has been submitted to his Department for the provision of a sewerage scheme for the Gweedore-Bunbeg-Derrybeg areas of County Donegal; the planning that has been completed; the progress achieved to date on the project; and if the project is being included in the National Development Plan, 1994-1999.

Donegal County Council have been requested to submit an updated preliminary report for this scheme. An environmental impact statement is also being prepared for the treatment works. The question of funding is being examined in the context of the 1994-1999 Operational Programme for Environmental Services.
