Ceist:104 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if farm incomes rose by more than 37 per cent in the past two years; and his predictions for farm incomes in 1994 and 1995.
Written Answers. - Farm Incomes.
Aggregate farm income, net of interest payments, increased by about 36.7 per cent in the past two years according to estimates published by the Central Statistics Office in December, 1993.
While it is too early to be precise about developments in the coming two years my assessment is that 1994 will be another year of significant growth in aggregate farm income.
