113 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has for the upgrading of the intensive care unit at St. Vincent's Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4; and if he will give an undertaking that this work will be carried out in 1994.
St. Vincent's Hospital has submitted proposals for a number of major developments, including the upgrading of the intensive care unit, to my Department.
Officials of my Department will be meeting with the hospital management shortly to discuss how the hospital's priority needs can be addressed within the context of the revenue and capital funding available in 1994.
