120 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the need to increase access to third level education and following the recent report of her Department's specialist committee on third level grants, she intends to increase PAYE family income limits for university grants.
The third level student support schemes are currently being reviewed in my Department as part of the process of preparing the 1994 schemes.
As part of that review the income limits applicable to the 1994 third level student support schemes will be considered.
I shall be setting out my intentions with regard to the conclusions and recommendations of the expert advisory group's report on the third level student support system in the very near future.
