Vol. 440 No. 1

Written Answers. - Ballyboughal (Dublin) School.

Nora Owen

Ceist:

168 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to up-grade Ballyboughal national school, Ballyboughal, County Dublin, where two pre-fabs exist with no toilet facilities, and where there is no assembly area or accommodation suitable for the recently appointed shared remedial teacher who currently operates in a small storeroom surrounded by school stocks such as toilet paper, chalk and other such items.

No request has been received in my Department for grant-aid for the works mentioned by the Deputy. If, however, the chairman of the board of management submits a written application to my Department's primary buildings branch, the matter will be dealt with as soon as possible.
