Ceist:

40 Mr. L. Burke asked the Taoiseach the number of people unemployed in Cork city and county for the period ending 28 February 1994, and for same period for each of the years 1989 to 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The area analysis of the live register for February 1994 is not yet available and will not be published by the Central Statistics Office until 11 March 1994.

The following table sets out the number of persons on the Live Register in Cork city and county on the last Friday of January in the years 1989 to 1994 and on the last Friday of February in the years 1989 to 1993.
