Ceist:135 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Education if she will approve improvement works for Sylane national school, County Galway, under Grant No. 11031 which has already been sanctioned for this school.

The project at Sylane national school in respect of which the grant referred to by the Deputy was approved is currently awaiting planning permission.
A report is being prepared by my Department's professional advisers on additional improvements requested by the board of management. When the report is to hand, this project will be considered for grant purposes and a decision will be conveyed to the chairman of the board of management.
