Ceist:

93 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the delay that has ensued in relation to the sanctioning of the proposed esplanade sewer in Bray, County Wicklow, as a tender was submitted for the work in November 1993, to his Department and all that is outstanding is his approval for this tender; and if he will make a statement regarding the delay that has ensued.

I refer to the reply to Question No. 90 of 14 December 1993. The decision of the European Commission on the application for assistance under the Cohesion Fund in respect of this project is expected to be communicated shortly.
