Ceist:31 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for Defence the efforts, if any, that he has made to market the services of the UN school abroad.

The UN school was established on 16 September 1993 and several courses have been conducted for Irish personnel going on overseas duty in 1994. A full school prospectus is currently being prepared and will include specific modules designed to meet the needs of foreign students. This prospectus will be circulated to countries which have expressed an interest in sending students to our UN school and if sufficient interest in shown a course for foreign students could be conducted in the first half of 1995.
There is no objection in principle to accepting students from other countries and considerable interest in the school has been shown by a number of foreign Governments.
