Vol. 442 No. 4

Written Answers. - Westmeath Army Barracks.

Paul McGrath

Ceist:

18 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to the need for a gymnasium at Custume Barracks, Athlone, County Westmeath; and the plans, if any, he has to provide this much needed facility.

The existing gymnasium in Custume Barracks, Athlone, continues to be used by the military authorities. The question of replacing it with a new gymnasium is under continuous review in the light of the priorities existing throughout the Defence Forces and the resources available.

Paul McGrath
