86 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when 1992 and 1993 cow suckler grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick, in view of the fact that confusion over herd numbers is causing financial hardship to this person; and when payment will be issued.
The applications of the person named for grants under the 1992 and 1993 suckler cow premium schemes are being processed at present and payments will be made shortly.
87 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when sheep and cattle premium payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
The person named received an advance payment of £596.85 under the 1993 ewe premium scheme on 5 October 1993. Based on the 22 ewes on which she claimed premium the maximum amount payable was £567.07. The overpayment of £29.78 will be deducted from any payments due under the 1994 scheme. Payment of her sheep headage grant was made on 11 November 1993. She is not an applicant under any of the cattle headage-premium schemes.
