Ceist:149 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a suckler quota will be allocated to persons (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 148 and 149 together.
Applicant details for 1993 suckler cow reserve quota are presently being recorded on computer and it is not possible to say at this stage if any particular applicant is eligible.
It is expected that quota allocations from this reserve will be made at the end of June.
If the persons named are successful in receiving a quota from the national reserve payment of grants under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme payment will than be made.
