154 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when farm installation aid grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry who submitted his application for payment in October 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
This grant was paid on 5 May 1994.
156 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will grant a cow suckler quota to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The person named does not qualify for an automatic suckler cow quota as he did not apply for suckler cow premium in 1992, the reference year.
He has applied for premium rights from the 1993 national reserve. However, as he did not apply for the suckler cow premium scheme in 1993 he is not, therefore, entitled to quota from the national reserve for that year.
157 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when sheep premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
The person named will be paid the 1993 ewe premium shortly. However, she received an overpayment of £461.55 under the 1992 ewe premium scheme and this amount will be deducted from her 1993 payment.
158 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a suckler grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
The December 1992 application of the person named for suckler cow premium was turned down originally but has recently been passed for payment on review. That premium, together with 1993 suckler cow premium, will be paid shortly.
159 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a cattle headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
The person named was paid an advance of his 1993 cattle headage grant on 3 December 1993. His application is being processed further at present and any balance due will be paid in the near future.
