Ceist:89 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance the present status of Carrigafoyle Castle, Ballylongford, County Kerry; and the name of the owner of the castle.
Written Answers. - Ballylongford (Kerry) Castle.
Carrigafoyle Castle was placed in the guardianship of the Commissioners of Public Works for preservation as a national monument in 1937. The title to the property is unregistered but, to the Commissioners knowledge, the Castle is owned by Mrs. Mary Sandes-Boxwell, or her heir and successor in title.
