52 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the need to proceed with the Arklow bypass, County Wicklow; if he will sanction the compulsory purchase order and environmental impact assessment on this project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
There are two compulsory purchase orders and an environmental impact statement associated with the Arklow bypass project, all of which have been the subject of public local inquiries conducted by an inspector appointed for the purpose. I am considering the outcome of these proceedings and will give my decision as soon as possible.
