53 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment if an application has been received in his Department for the funding of Ballyshannon sewerage scheme, County Donegal; if so, the date the application was received; if funds are being allocated towards this scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Donegal County Council have been asked to submit a revised preliminary report for this scheme. The proposal will be considered further when this report has been received. The question of funding does not arise at this stage.
