127 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade if his Department will purchase Dromore Castle and lands in view of its tourism potential, including job creation, in the Kenmare area of County Kerry and in view of the plans prepared by Bord Fáilte Éireann for its development; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There are no funds at the disposal of my Department for the purchase of properties such as Dromore Castle, Kenmare, County Kerry. At present, Bord Fáilte has no plans for the development of the Castle nor has it resources available to acquire it.
