Ceist:133 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has to appoint a consultant orthodontist in the Eastern Health Board area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Under agreed arrangements between the Eastern Health Board and the Dublin Dental Hospital a professor-consultant in orthodontics took up duty on 1 December 1993 in a shared appointment. The Eastern Health Board is endeavouring to improve further the provision of consultant orthodontist services under these agreed arrangements.
