Vol. 444 No. 5

Written Answers. - Dublin Airport Hubbing Arrangements.

Donal Carey

Ceist:

117 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the discussions, if any, he has had with Aer Lingus since the Cahill plan implementation regarding the hubbing arrangements at Dublin Airport; the average daily numbers of passengers hubbing on the Dublin New York daily flight; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have had no discussions with Aer Lingus regarding hubbing arrangements at Dublin Airport. That is a commercial day-to-day matter for the company.

The average number of passengers hubbing by air from Aer Lingus services on to the Dublin-New York service is 22 per flight in each direction in April and May, 1994.
