Ceist:152 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if a school (details supplied) is included in the disadvantaged schools' scheme; and the level of capitation grants they will receive.
Written Answers. - Disadvantaged Schools' Scheme.
The school referred to by the Deputy is included in the disadvantaged areas scheme and as such has been allocated two additional concessionary teaching posts and receives capitation funding at a rate of £55 per pupil.
The capitation rate in this case incorporates a special additional allocation of £17 per pupil, comprised as follows: £10 per pupil in respect of supplementary capitation; £5 per pupil in respect of materials/equipment; £2 per pupil in respect of home school community liaison.
