Ceist:130 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Marine when payment of back-pay will be sanctioned in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This concerns a relativity pay claim in respect of inspectors in the central and regional fisheries boards arising out of an increase granted to certain grades in the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry with which they claim relativity.
The claim was heard by the Labour Relations Commission and interdepartmental consultations are proceeding with a view to resolving the matter.
