Ceist:143 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid sheep subsidy.
Written Answers. - Grant Payment.
The person named applied under the 1993 ewe premiume scheme for payment on 488 sheep. He had a quota of 198 and payment was made in respect of that number. However, he recently acquired his mother's quota of 219 quota rights and arrangements are being made to have the additional premium paid in the near future.

Ceist:144 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when headage grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
The person named was paid an advance of £405.84 under the 1993 cattle headage scheme on 3 December 1993 and the balance of £307.96 on 2 March 1994. He was paid an advance of £284.72 under the 1993 suckler cow scheme on 3 December 1993 and the balance of £189.82 on 20 April 1994. He applied under 1993 ewe premium scheme on 73 ewes. To date he has been paid £567.06 on 22 ewes, the number for which he had quota rights.
As he secured an additional 51 quota rights from the national reserve he is due additional premium of £1,314.57 which will be paid within the next week. On 29 November 1993, he was paid £730 under the 1993 sheep headage scheme. The 1993 extensification premium of £158.16 due to him was paid on 11 May 1994.
Patrick J. Morley
Ceist:145 Mr. Morley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when agricultural grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
The person named was paid an advance of £330.60 under the 1993 cattle headage scheme on 27 November 1993 and a balance of £220.40 on 2 March 1994. He applied for 22 months special beef premium on 21 animals in June 1993. He was paid an advance of £664.39 on foot of this application on 15 March 1994. The balance due will be paid shortly. He did not apply under the 1993 suckler cow sheep headage or ewe premium schemes.
