Jim Higgins

Ceist:

202 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the reason a school (details suplied) in County Mayo is only receiving partial funding for a senior certificate class.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 201 and 202 together.

Pupils following the senior certificate programme in this and other schools are reckoned in full for the standard allocation of teacher resources and grants payable in respect of second-level schools. No special funding is provided in respect of the senior certificate programme.
