Ceist:55 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for the Environment the current position with regard to Lisdoonvarna/Doolin water supply scheme; and when construction of the scheme will commence.

The tender for the site investigation contract for this scheme was approved by my Department in December 1993 and this work is currently in progress. I cannot yet indicate when the scheme will go to construction.
