Ceist:

64 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment if, arising from his reply to parliamentary question No. 71 of 23 June 1994, he will take the necessary steps to provide a place on the board of the Custom House Docks Development Authority for a member of the local community in view of the extended area now coming under its remit which is adjacent to a large inner city community.

The number of members of the Custom House Docks Development Authority is set at eight by the legislation referred to in the reply to Question No. 71. The current terms of office of the existing eight members does not expire until 24 January 1997. I have no proposals to change the membership of the Authority.
