Jim Higgins

Ceist:

81 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has still not received his sheep headage.

My Department has no record of having received an application for 1993 sheep headage grants from the person named. However, he applied under the 1993 ewe premium scheme and he will be paid his full premium entitilement in the near future.

The person named applied for the 1993 suckler cow premium on 32 animals. He was paid an advance of his premium on 1 December 1993. Before payment of the balance can be made further documentation is required in the case and he has been requested to furnish same.

83 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when the remainder of cattle headage will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The application from the person named under the 1993 cattle headage scheme is being processed at present and any payment due will be made in the near future.

Ceist:

84 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a ewe premium payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

The person named was paid an advance of the first and second instalments of the 1993 ewe premium scheme on 25 July 1993 and the final instalment will be paid shortly.

Enda Kenny

Ceist:

85 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when the second half of suckler grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named was paid an advance of £521.99 under the 1993 suckler cow scheme on 25 November 1993. When the application was being processed further for payment it was found that there were invalid tag numbers listed on the application. He was requested in writing in March 1994 to clarify the tag numbers under query. However, he did not provide this information until May 1994. The application is now being processed and any payment due will be made in the near future.
