Ceist:103 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his ten month beef premium for which he applied in December 1993.
The person named applied on 16 animals under the November-December 1993 special beef premium scheme. Three of the eartag numbers on his application were duplicated. These have been deleted from the application and payment on the remaining 13 animals will issue shortly.

He is ineligible for grants under the June 1993 special beef premium scheme as premium has already been paid on the animals listed on his application.

The person named was paid the balance of his January-February 1993 special beef premium on 29 June 1994. He was recently allocated a suckler cow quota from the national reserve so his 1993 suckler cow premium scheme application is now being processed and any payment due will issue shortly.

Ceist:109 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive sheep headage payment for his 31 ewes under rented quota which he leased in 1993.
The person named applied under the 1993 ewe premium scheme for payment on 200 sheep. He had a quota of 171 rights and payment was made in respect of that number. However, he leased 31 additional quota rights and arrangements are being made to have the additional premium paid in respect of 29 sheep — the difference between the number he applied for and his original quota.

Ceist:113 Mr. Connolly asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.
The person named applied for ten month special beef premium on 17 animals in June 1993 and was paid an advance of £537.94 on foot of this application on 22 December, 1993. He was also paid an advance of £348.01 on 15 December 1993 on foot of an application lodged under the June 1993 twenty-two month scheme on 11 animals. He also applied on ten animals under the November 1993 ten month special beef premium scheme. This application is now being processed and any payment due together with the balances due under the June 1993 schemes will be paid in the near future.

The person named has already been paid the full amount due under the 1993 suckler cow scheme.
Payment of 1993 extensification premium is ongoing and if he is due premium under this scheme payment will be made in the near future.
