Ceist:192 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if proceedings have been taken arising from the Sunday World, 4 September 1994 exposé on badger baiting at Ballymore, County Westmeath. [419/94]
Written Answers. - Badger Baiting.
The Garda are currently investigating the allegation of badger baiting made in the Sunday World on 4 September 1994. As such, it would be inappropriate for me to comment further on the matter at this stage other than to say that, if this investigation uncovers a breach of the law by any person, a file will be prepared and submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions in the normal manner for his directions.
